French courses and internship
You would like to have a training period in addition to
your French courses? We can propose to you a training period in
the field that would suit you.
This kind of education is open to everyone. No formal
qualifications are required.
This work experience wil take place in Lyons and in its
area* with no limit in regard to the professionnal field
activity.
As for any other type of program that we propose, you can
ask for a room either with a host family or in a hall of
residence**.
You can choose between two options:
1) Work-based learning: you have French courses and
work placement in parallel.
With this option, you have access to 10 hrs/week to be
spread on 2 days. The 3 other days of the week, you will be
within the company.
So that you can have an interview before starting your
internship, you may start this period of internship 15 days
maximum after the beginning of the courses.
2) Full time: you first reach the French courses at
the Institut Lyonnais and have to select the 'intensive courses'
option. (see underneath).
After this period, you will be within the company for a full
time period.
N.B. In both cases, the training period has to
between one and six months maximum.
You will have to sign a training agreement.
You have to take into account that you won't be paid during
this work placement.
* A 1 hr-journey with public transportation (TCL).
