Institut Lyonnais is a public high school founded in 1984 by academics from Lyons and put under the teaching responsibility of professors belonging to French high schools.
Institut Lyonnais mainly provides language and French culture courses for students and professionals.

OUR GOAL

Institut Lyonnais gives French courses all year round:
• Basic training (for foreign students and trainees).
• Training (for professionals or any workers).

OUR ASSETS

• A range of various activities which allow students to practice the French language in an another way: theatre or cultural activities for example.
• Several certificates from different types and levels:
Going from the 'Certificat d'Etudes Françaises' set up according to the examinations standard of the Council of Europe to the different examinations that can be passed thanks to the French Chambre of Commerce.

Additionally, the students who would like to prepare the  DELF, TEF (
French Language Evaluation Test), TCF (The French Language Knowledge Test) or other examinations from Paris Chambre of Commerce in agreement with CIEP (International Teaching Studies Centre) from Sevres will be allowed to do so. Institut Lyonnais is an official examination centre.

WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

Institut Lyonnais is situated in the center of Lyon, 2nd city of France, at 2 hrs of Paris, 1 hrs of the Alps, 3 hrs of the sea (Côte d'Azur).
